This nomination is for projects or plans being submitted for a Smart Growth Award.

Nomination Requirements
Nomination guidelines, including required elements and the project narrative questions, are available as a downloadable PDF document. Please read this first, as it explains the submission process in detail.
 

All nominations must be submitted via the form below. You will be asked to create a Submittable account (if you submitted in a previous year, your login should still work), enter basic information about the project, and upload all completed supporting documents. You may pause your submission process at any time and resume it later.

Nomination Deadline
  All nominations must be received, and fully completed, by midnight on March 31, 2026. Incomplete nominations will not be accepted. It is strongly recommended that you submit your completed nomination as soon as possible, but at least 10 days prior to the deadline, so if there are questions, we can notify you prior to the deadline.

The 2025 New Jersey Planning & Redevelopment Conference brings together bold ideas, innovative solutions, proven concepts, and best practices for creating stronger, more inclusive, and equitable places where people live, work, and play.

New Jersey Future and the New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Association are proud to present a three-day conference, which will be held virtually on June 10-11 and in person at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick on June 13.

Submission Deadline

All session proposals must be received and fully completed by February 6, 2026. Only complete submissions that have complied with all requirements will be accepted. It is strongly recommended that you submit your session proposal as soon as possible so if there are questions, we can notify you before the submission deadline.
